For the less conventional student, HOI loves what they’re doing at GA. Specialising and focusing on today’s thriving career industries, such as Code and Data Science, GA aim to “pioneer accelerated training models to empower underrepresented communities in tech and adults with low income.” With the options to either study online or on campus in Aldgate, the freedom to create your own journey of self-improvement is at the heart of this institute. Coined as a pioneer in the “Classroom to career revolution” by Forbes, it’s plain to see GA are making waves. Before you enroll, there are plenty of free workshops online (live) and introductory classes, to help you decide which road to take.
Prices range from £150 - £16,000, in correlation to the length of the courses, ranging anything from 2 days to 3 months.
EDX - @edxonline
Partnered with the Russell group Ivy League universities of the world, and covering vast subjects from philosophy to computer sciences and the arts, EDX means business. This site is as close as you can get to an institutional learning experience, from your laptop. With academic professors at your disposal, teaching you via pre-recorded virtual lectures, this platform may be better suited to the disciplined academics. The courses are however ‘self-paced’, with a range of certification choices.
Certified courses range from £1,000 to £20,000.
However, the majority of courses online are available for free – without the certification.

Last but not least, we’ve thrown in a wild card. We describe The Do Lectures as the people’s TED, bringing inspiration to your life.
